PIMA (Project Implementation and Management Associates) emerged in 2001 with an aim to provide management and support services for implementation of various projects in Bangladesh. With the passage of time the company extended it’s scope of services and got involved in supply, catering and construction business with enlistment in CMMU (Ministry of Health), DW&CE (Army), BDR, Central Ordnance Depot (Army) and LGED.
Because of its few members military and intelligence background PIMA with the initiative of its CEO opened a new wing named Security and Intelligence Services Unit (SISU) for providing security and intelligence coverage to its esteemed clients. LaterLt Col (retd) M Rafiqul Islam took over as Head of SISU with a view to popularize and take private investigation to the doorsteps of the valued Clients.
PIMA takes pride in being, probably, the first security company in the history of Bangladesh to deploy the women folk as security guards in full khaki clad uniform (like that of its male counterpart) in crowded shopping complex of Eastern Plaza, CSD at Dhaka Cantonment, public recreation spot like Dhanmondi Lake and the pavilion of Dandy Dying in the Dhaka International Trade Fair – 2003.
With a purpose to provide cleaning, maintenance and facility / utility services to various organizations, business group, hospitals and multi storied commercial building and residential apartment a separate unit named Integrated Support Services was opened. Cleaning and Pest Control, Plantation and Landscaping, Facility and Utility, Repair and Maintenance were brought under one central umbrella. PIMA conceived this noble idea of introducing office boy/girl, receptionist, lift operator, electrician, plumber, gardener and cleaner, as noble professionals and took them to the doorsteps of the clients who needed these services. MrSajjadHossain, with his Pharmabangla Pest Control Services merged with PIMA and gave a professional shape to Cleaning and Pest Control unit (CAPCU) of PIMA.
Of late it was felt that many a client to escape the hassles of hiring too many personnel or companies to provide security, cleaning, maintenance, utility and facility services, would prefer to have the same services from one reliable organization. PIMA with expertise in their own respective field decided to integrate the above mentioned services under one central umbrella and provide the same as a package deal to the valued clients. And thus Security and Integrated Support Services was formed and PIMA SISS came into being.
